Ep. 265: Another Dimension

Featuring 55 minutes of Trance, Psy-Trance and Vocal Trance tunes, you better get yourself ready for this one. Buckle up, bitches! Let’s head to a different time and place…keep the music loud!

Ep. 250: Origins

5 years. 250 episodes. 55,000 subscribers. When we started the podcast in 2013, it was just 3 friends in Dallas wanting to put together and share DJ mixes on the internet. We barely knew what we were doing and had no idea if anyone would listen. What motivated us then and what continues to connect with listeners all across the world now is something pretty simple: music. It inspires. It transcends. And it’s been the singular focus of our podcast for our entire existence. We hope you’ve heard some really good music over the past 5 years. We know we have. In that vein, our 3 co-founders have put together an episode of music that inspired them when they first started DJing 10 years ago. It’s an origin story. Enjoy, keep the music loud and thank you for an incredible 5 years!

Ep. 249: Infinite Destinies

As our 2018 Summer Series winds down, we have a very special announcement to make. Our good friend Carlos, who was our first guest artist and has provided nearly 20 mixes for more than 4 years, has officially joined the podcast as a Resident DJ! We couldn’t be more excited to have our Norwegian brother as an official member of our Electric Retox family! To celebrate, Carlos drops a signature 65 minute Trance mix full of all kinds of goodies, including a crazy Psy-Trance track to cap things off. Quality stuff, as usual. Let’s hold on to those summer vibes by keeping the music loud!

Ep. 243: Wings, Pt. 1

Keeping our Summer Series at a groovy, cruising altitude of 35,000 ft. is Resident Massive Spectre with his first installment of his The Story of Trance series, Wings pt. 1. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the flight while you keep the music loud!

Ep. 231: Parallel Worlds

Our brother-from-another-mother Carlos is back with a fantastic Trance mix in this week’s episode! Making his 16th appearance on the podcast, we love featuring Carlos’ work because he always seems to explore his own artistic boundaries. This mix does just that as it contains a couple older tunes, an old classic from 2001, and some brand new tracks which really showcase how far music production has come. It demonstrates Trance’s ability to transport the listener to a different time and place with its massive sounds and emotional melodies. We invite you to go on a journey with us…

Ep. 229: Reckless Essentials

Dallas-local artist Reckless Ryan joins an exclusive club this week as he makes his 10th appearance on the podcast! We first featured him back in October 2015 and it’s been a helluva ride ever since! For this week’s episode, Ryan goes crate digging to bring us some of the most uplifting Progressive tracks from 2008 – 2012. And dare we say, they’re some of our favorite tunes as well. Let the celebration begin! Throw on those sunglasses and keep the music loud!

Ep. 225: Breakwater

Listen as waves crash on stone. Yet, you gently float, rocking back and forth. Out there, chaos. But right here, serenity. We all have that one barrier that holds back the madness, granting that sense of peace, even if it is just for a second.

Ep. 218: New Beginnings

Welcome to 2018, party people! We’re excited to embark on another year of great music with you! To get things started off on the right foot, our good friend Carlos and unofficial Norwegian King of Trance drops one of the most energetic sets we’ve had in a long time. From Carlos himself, “This is a mix for the real Trance fans. It has a high BPM, powerful and big tunes, and quite a lot of energy. The tracks have been carefully picked over an extended period of time. I really hope the listeners will enjoy it.” Without further ado, we invite to crank the volume and officially get 2018 started!

Ep. 214: Deja You & Me

Time. Constantly moving forward as our universe expands more and more. Yet we sometimes find ourselves questioning, “Haven’t I been here before?” How can we have those memories of those moments we are just now experiencing? Take a moment to ponder the path of time as Massive Spectre takes your through a 68 minute flashback of Progressive Trance.  Remember, it is time that connects us through it all…

Ep. 205: Touching Infinity

Our first, and one of our most talented, guest DJ is back for his 14th appearance on the podcast! Norway’s own Carlos throws down one of his best sets in this week’s episode. Hear the passion from Carlos himself as he describes his work, “This mix contains some new stuff, some old stuff and some old stuff in a new wrapping. I tried to combine new sounds with the old sounds, showing where Trance originated and how it has evolved through the years. The last tune especially is very emotional and shows how Trance was back in those days.” We invite you to crank the volume and join Carlos on this 63 minute journey!

Ep. 194: Solar Eclipse

The Master of Trance and one of our best friends from across the Atlantic is back in this week’s Summer Series episode! Carlos makes his 13th appearance on our airwaves with one of his best mixes to date. He recorded it live, in one take, with 8 different CD’s (we love that old school vibe)! The result is a 72 minute mix with some reworkings of a few of the greatest electronic songs ever created. Carlos said he drew his inspiration directly from the summer and its corresponding festivals. We invite you to go along for the ride by keeping the music loud!

Ep. 183: Interstellar Transmissions

Our good friend Carlos is back on our airwaves in this week’s episode. Marking his 12th appearance on the podcast, this may be his best work yet! Featuring 63 minutes of high-energy Trance, Uplifting Trance and Vocal Trance tunes, this mix has so much power it can make contact with extraterrestrial life! Who wants to explore the universe with us? Keep the music loud!

Ep. 177: Part 4 – Fire

The Titan Prometheus gave fire to mankind and for that, he was exiled and cursed. Roscoe discovered his love for Trance, and for that, he is cursed. His newest addition to his five part series explores the many sides of Uplifting Trance such as beauty, rage, joy, fear and peace. One could say this is why Trance is the fire in Roscoe’s mind, body and soul.
