Ep. 292: The Last Dance

We’re really excited to have one of our most prominent alumni back on the podcast in this special Summer Series episode! It’s been nearly 2 years since Johny Reedickulos graced our airwaves with his signature funky sound — and damnit, that’s too long! Worry no more as the west coast prodigal son returns, this time with so much funk & flair you can start a riot with these sounds. Featuring over 100 minutes of Jackin House and groovy House tracks, this mix could quite literally set the disco on fire. The King of Funk is back! Strap on those dancing shoes and keep the music loud!

Ep. 285: Time To Come Home

Welcome to our 2019 Summer Series, party people! We made it! The warm weather is finally here which means it’s time to bust out some hot mixes. Resident DJ Massive Spectre gets things started with an energetic 59 minute episode full of Trance and Progressive masterpieces. This one will help you touch infinity before bringing you back home…keep the music loud!

Ep. 282: In The Distance

In the distance burns a faint light. Its glow summons you closer. As you approach, the sound begins to envelop your body. Pulsing. A melody caresses your cheek. Its groove infectious. You begin to dance as time fades away. Lost in the music…and you’ve never felt more at home. Join one of our most popular guest artists, Unkle John, on a 63 minute lesson on the power of music. Seeya on the other side…

Ep. 275: The Way You Make Me Feel

Stardust said it best: “Music sounds better with you.” And in this week’s episode, Resident DJ Red gives us 62 minutes of good vibes that are best shared with that special someone. So sit back, grab a snuggie and hot cocoa with that special someone, and slip away to that happy place. Oh, and don’t forget the mini-marshmallows…

Ep. 268: Experiments In Tension, Pt. 3 – Death Of The Infinite Melancholy

When you don’t think you can go on any further, when all is broken and seemingly lost, you look at the pieces of what remains — it’s just you. And though you may not be what you once were, you came out through the other side. You’re here. You made it. The final installment of MrPanda‘s Experiments In Tension highlights this breakthrough. It’s a release. You’re letting go. And it’s almost defiant in its statement. Death Of The Infinite Melancholy is a 60 minute, harder-hitting Drum ‘n’ Bass mix for good reason. It’s a declaration of personal victory — one that came with scars and complex memories but a victory nonetheless. You can look back and see “there was light on the edge of the dark side.” And one final time you say, “So I let you go,” as you give yourself to the music…

Ep. 253: Journey Into The Mind

Music has the power to transform. Your mood. Your experience. Even your consciousness. When hypnotic tracks are carefully selected and crafted into a seamlessly woven mix, your body can go into a trance as time passes you by. That’s the result in this week’s episode from one of our most popular guest artists, Unkle John. It’s a 55 minute Deep House and Deep Tech House journey of self-discovery and inward reflection. And when it hits you, you have no choice but to dance. Turn it up. Drift away…

Ep. 252: Dance It Away

And we’re back in action with resident DJ Red and he does not disappoint. This sexy little bit has some Disco throwback vibes that’ll get those feet tappin’ and those fingers snappin’. Let’s mix up some saucy, dirty martinis, throw on the white pants, head down to Studio 54 and just dance it away…

Ep. 251: Feel The Breaks

September is here which means it’s time to officially say goodbye to our 2018 Summer Series. It’s been an amazing 3 months of feel-good vibes with some incredible mixes from DJs all over the world! To officially close things out, we’re stoked to have Romania’s Funky Mike join us for his first mix on the podcast. Get ready for some baby-making music ’cause this one is a helluva good time! Featuring more than 60 minutes of funky Breakbeat tracks that are specifically designed to get your ass shaking, this mix is the perfect way to say goodbye to summer. Let’s sweat it out one last time! Keep the music loud!

Ep. 250: Origins

5 years. 250 episodes. 55,000 subscribers. When we started the podcast in 2013, it was just 3 friends in Dallas wanting to put together and share DJ mixes on the internet. We barely knew what we were doing and had no idea if anyone would listen. What motivated us then and what continues to connect with listeners all across the world now is something pretty simple: music. It inspires. It transcends. And it’s been the singular focus of our podcast for our entire existence. We hope you’ve heard some really good music over the past 5 years. We know we have. In that vein, our 3 co-founders have put together an episode of music that inspired them when they first started DJing 10 years ago. It’s an origin story. Enjoy, keep the music loud and thank you for an incredible 5 years!

Ep. 248: Call Of The Wild

Time to drop some DMT in this week’s Summer Series episode! DMT is the aptly named, DFW-local brainchild of Dreadnaught (from Ep. 230) & Michael Todd (a 28 year pro in the Dallas music scene). As a duo, DMT breaks through any genre boundaries and pushes a wide-reaching auditory experience to dance floors — making crowds move, shake and get lost in music that is both powerful and unanticipated. And in this week’s episode, they do just that! Featuring an epic 2.5 hour mix full of banging underground Techno, Tech House and Industrial tracks, we’ve got a wild one for ya, party people! Heed its call…

Ep. 233: Celebration

Resident artist Red gets nice and cozy with this week’s episode. Sit back, relax, and let the mind and spirit unite in celebration of life and art…now, would someone pass the Doritos…

Ep. 224: Echoes In The Dark

A pounding sub shakes the walls outside the club. As you approach it, you can feel the warmth and energy emanating from within. A familiar song is faint but growing ever louder as you walk through the double doors. It brings a smile to your face when you start to hum its tune. It’s one of your all-time favorites. You look at the DJ booth and give a nod to the mysterious BR∆VE manning the decks. He’s playing some of the greatest dance tracks ever made. And you know it’s going to be a good night…

Ep. 222: Nostalgia Nights

We’ve got some killer house party vibes for you in this week’s episode! Featuring a feel-good selection of Future Bass and Chill Trap tunes, we’ll definitely be revisiting this mix in the warmer summer months ’cause it’s got all the feels. Keep the music loud!

Ep. 203: The Truth

As we say goodbye to summer and welcome the return of cooler temperatures, we also welcome back one of Dallas’ hardest-working DJs for this week’s episode. For the 8th time on our airwaves, we say hello to Reckless Ryan! He’s got some chunky tunes on tap in this beautifully selected 60 minute mix! We invite you to keep the music loud as you embark on the journey.

Ep. 181: Everybody Was Freakin

Resident artist Red (from The House Brothers) returns to the decks in this week’s episode. And hot damn, it’s a goody! Featuring 63 minutes of grooved out Techno and Tech House baby-makers, this mix asks a simple question: who’s out on the dance floor freakin’? The answer: EVERYBODY. We invite you to join the madness. Keep the music loud, party people!

Ep. 177: Part 4 – Fire

The Titan Prometheus gave fire to mankind and for that, he was exiled and cursed. Roscoe discovered his love for Trance, and for that, he is cursed. His newest addition to his five part series explores the many sides of Uplifting Trance such as beauty, rage, joy, fear and peace. One could say this is why Trance is the fire in Roscoe’s mind, body and soul.

Ep. 172: For The Love Of Bass

We welcome the return of Rhode Island-based Bass-master Boltcutter in this week’s episode! It’s been a little over 2 years since we had him on in Ep. 041 and we’re now kicking ourselves for not having him back sooner! We’ll warn you up front for this episode, kiddies — this mix will test the LFEs of your sub woofer in a BIG way. It’s also perfect for the forbidden hot tub party at your parents’ vacation condo 🙂 Party on, kids and remember to keep the music loud!

Ep. 156: To A Higher Level

In this week’s episode, resident DJ Red (from The House Brothers) continues the Techno vibes we’ve had going. To commemorate the 3 year milestone, our 3 resident DJs have compiled a 3-part mix lasting just under 3 hours — all tied to our original motto of ‘Mind, Body, Soul’. It’s a celebration of the journey we started 150 episodes ago. As always, we invite you to keep the music loud!

Ep. 149: The Hustle

Our Summer Series gets bumping in this week’s episode! Featuring the return of Buggzy BLUE (definitely revisit his Ep. 123 mix), we’ve got some hard-sitting Bass in store for our listeners. It’s 60 minutes of nonstop Bass, Trap and Dubstep jams that will reverb in your ears for the next week. Let’s go crazy for this one! Keep the music loud!

Ep. 143: Fade

Resident DJ Red (from The House Brothers) brings our Summer Series to a euphoric level in this week’s episode. Enjoy and keep the music loud!

Ep. 099: The Lost Beacon

This week’s mix came to us from somewhere unknown and far away. Late one night, our radio picked up a random signal broadcasting a blend of Trance and Drum & Bass. The music had a feeling that someone or something was reaching out to us through their favorite sounds in electronic music. And since music is the universal form of communication, we can only speculate if they were of this planet. At the end of the broadcast we heard only one name, Ser Nygel, and then the signal was gone. So we have dubbed the recording “The Lost Beacon” and wish to share what we heard as this week’s episode.  No one knows where they are from or if we will hear from them again…Tune in and keep the music loud!

Ep. 097: House Of Love

Ep. 094: Enter The Void

DFW-local BadApple came to the metroplex by way of Florida and is our feature in this week’s episode. A fan of electronic music since 1992, he started out listening to Florida break beats and jungle. Ep. 084: Through The Looking Glass

The Dallas scene is currently flowing with burgeoning, eclectic musical talent. This week’s local guest DJ is a perfect example of this.
